What a pointless hour of television. What a pointless week of competition. After so much blustering bluster, the judges decided to not eliminate any of the dancers this week, instead deciding to eliminate two people next week.
So why even bother mentioning that Billy, sidelined by an injury, was joined by Robert and Jose in the bottom three? That both of their solos were pretty good, but neither could even come close to that guest solo we saw from DJ Smart. My oh my, that was frickin' amazing. That guy had the biggest thighs I think I have ever seen. And that routine was awesome. The other guest performance of the night was one from the American Ballet Theater, doing something from Don Quixote. I am always a little awed and disturbed by how long those ballet dancers can stay on point. That just seems incredibly painful.
Otherwise, the all-stars featured in tonight's show were Lauren and Neil from season three. I really did not remember that they ever had a routine together, but apparently they did, because they performed a Wade Robson jazz piece. You'd think I'd remember a Wade number! I wish he would choreograph some stuff this season, I always like his stuff.
The musical guest was Enrique Iglesias, and I well... I had that on mute and was on the phone. I really could care less about their musical guests!
And that's it. Blah blah. Shenanigans. Ruckus. More random words. The end.

FYI Neil and Lauren were paired together in the beginning of season 3. They did 5 dances together.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, so sad Jose didn't go home.
Wow, I have a poor memory apparently!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, if he isn't one of the two to go home next week, I don't know why they even bother calling it a dancing show.
